of London Police Annual Dinner - Once again an extremely successful
evening with over 600 guests attending. Gareth Chilcott entertained
everyone with a great talk followed by a raffle and auction with the
evening ending with dancing to the sound of Dr Chocolate. The
event is thought to have raised in excess of £50,000.

Blue
Knights "Up & Down" - Avon & Somerset Police Officers
Greg Miller, Adrian Peck, John Cooke & Muddy Waters of the Blue
Knights XIV motorcycle team took on Lands End to John O'Groats ride
in September. The fundraisers then went on to hold a charity
auction evening supported by local companies with over 400 people
being entertained by Stavros Flatley. The raised the fantastic
amount of over £25,000.

Tour
de Force - After a gruelling 23 days cycling to every police force
HQ in the England, Scotland & Wales, Dom and his team raised almost
£60,000. He would like to say a huge 'thank you' to everyone
who supported the event.

Staffordshire
Police Tour of Britain - A team of police officers from Staffordshire
led by Darrell Burns & Garry Helsby successfully completed the
Tour of Britain cycle route and rasied a significant sum of money
for us.

Chambers attended a cheque presentation at the Foresters' Fund for
Children who generously donated £1,000 towards the costs of
publishing our extremely successful children's personal safety leaflet
Tackle Safety.

Between
15th - 31st May 2009 Deb Leary, CEO of Forensic Pathways Ltd took
on a huge personal challenge by trekking to Everest Base Camp to raise
funds for CVOC.

This
outstanding trek to the base camp of the world's highest mountain
took her through the lush valleys of Sagarmatha National Park, with
time to explore its villages and monasteries. Eight of the world's
fourteen peaks that exceed 8,000m in height are situated in the Nepalese
Himalayas. The highest of them all, standing at 8,848m, is Mt. Everest.

On
7th February 2009 Holy Trinity Lamorbey CE Primary School from Sidcup
and Grange Park Primary School from Winchmore Hill formed part of
the Curtain Raiser at the England v Italy international game at Twickenham.
The two schools battled through the National Finals at Rugby School
in July 2007 to win their place at Twickenham.

are extremely grateful to the Jenkins family and friends who are continuing
to supporting CVOC in memory of Emily Jenkins, who was a victim of
the July 2005 bombings in London and have so far raised in excess
of £15,000.
